CATÁLOGO DE INVESTIGACIONES | AÑO ACADÉMICO 2020-2021 99 Sports in Dense Urban Areas This investigation aims to integrate sports and health amenities in dense urban cities. It is known that sports can occupy a large amount of horizontal area for which it is not always a sustainable solution to be applied in a dense urban context where there is a lack of available land and costs are elevated. Such is the case in Milla de Oro, known as the financial district and the densest area with the tallest buildings in Puerto Rico. It is primarily work related, when work hours end, the district becomes underused with minor entertainment amenities.
