I understand 90 or maybe more Spanish, but the next time when I come here to Puerto Rico, I promise that I’ll speak Spanish. Gracias for the invitation, I am really very grateful and, as you know. I arrived for the very, very first time in the Journey of San Valentino and I really started a love affair with this Island and its people. So to the wonderful people of this Island thank you very much for the invitation. Although I will focus on the topics theoretically, my lecture will be, at the same time, practical. I am at that point in my career that, after you become a full professor and you wrote all the books and I’m sure that many colleagues in the audience might agree with me, at the end of the day you ask, now what’s next? You always think about that next goal in your life. I had the wonderful experience that when I was doing doctoral studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Pontifical Oriental Institute, I was working for the Vatican radio. So there was this connection between what I was studying at Orientale and Gregoriana and the radio station and it was a very practical application so I tried returning to that pattern and when the Board of Regents and Trustees nominated me to create the Department of Catholic Studies and also the programming of catholic studies I jumped to this opportunity because my training is in historical theology and also ecclesiastical history. The background of the whole program is how to make theology speak to others, communicate, dialogue with other disciplines, and that is the core of the catholic studies program at the
